I left ours on for 5 days out of the box and it slowly improved. Then went on a 2 month business trip and returned. The difference was immediately noticed, Smooth, detailed and a very solid sound.

I’d think the OP has been able to answer the question for himself at this point. But yes, my perception was that my NDX2 improved over the first few weeks of usage. The XPSDR that partners it preceded the purchase of the NDX2 as it was originally purchased with the CDX2 that the NDX2 replaced.
