Does Anyone Make A Naim 4pin DIN to 2 RCA adapter?

I’m about to get my Naim Supernait back from service.I was biamping it with a Schiit Vidar power amp (using the sub outs) cause I did not have a 4 pin DIN to 2 RCA cable .Just coming off unemployment right now and funds are tight so I was wondering if Kontak or some other vendor makes a 4pin DIN to 2 RCA adapter so I can use my RCA cables connecting the two amps but using the BIAMP jack on the Naim instead of the sub outs giving me better sound quality.

Not sure why the sound quality would be any different, other than any effect different cables may have?

Any reasonable quality adapter will do.

I seem to remember that the SN’s sub-out and preamp-out are exactly the same. Anyway, the notorious bidding site should be plenty of ready made DIN-4 to RCA cables.

I believe there is a resistor in the sub output which allows the preamp to drive long sub cables, and can cause a small loss of sound quality. So I would use the DIN, although I would buy a cable, not an adapter which might also reduce sound quality.

Years ago, with my first SuperNait, I wanted to connect an N-Sub with a longish cable and I asked Naim about it. Steven Hopkins - prompt and kind as usual - told me to have a so and so cable made with a so and so resistor soldered inside the DIN plug. I cannot remember the values. And I also seem to remember Richard Dane having posted here that the two outputs are the same. But things might have changed over the years (and my many SNs  )

Hi Max, this post, which I believe was made by an anonymised @HungryHalibut indicates that the SN3 has a slugged sub out. One might assume that all of the Naits that have a dedicated sub out, as opposed to a pre out, are configured in this way, but as far as I’m aware Naim do not make this information available.

Thanks. It makes sense. I was referring to the original SN, which probably hadn’t the 100R resistor on the sub-out that Steven Hopkins prescribed inserting in the cable.
