Does the CI-Uniti 102 support HTTP access?

Hi all,

I’m new here but was occasionally active on the old forum under the same username. I still have my NAP 250 DR system, but I have a new application where the CI-Uniti 102 could be ideal.

Most current Naim streamers, e.g. the Uniti range, support both the formal automation platforms (Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI and Savant) and unofficial local HTTP access on port 15081, with endpoints such as /power and /levels/room.

Does the CI-Uniti 102 support HTTP access as well? Has anyone tried it, or does anyone know for certain either way?

Yes it does. The CI102 is running an API compatible code version as used in the Uniti range and other Naim (and now Focal) streaming products.

Great news. Is the API publicly documented e.g. GitHub? If no, any plans to make it public.

Currently we don’t plan to publicly publish or support it to end customers. Only to B2B partners and our CI automation partner Intrinsic who have written drivers for all main CI systems. See: https://www.intrinsicdev.com/ . Why? The support effort is always extremely high and specialist as it uses up R&D software team time. It also generates a web of legacy where as the api grows over time from new sw features these custom integration have a habit of breaking and all the support / forum pain attached to it.

Saying all this if you search the internet there are forums that have reversed engineered bits of it. Example:
