Early NAC 52 Remote - with newer 52?

Hi there
there has been some threads - but I think they are mostly with the “different direction”.
Does this remote:
NAC 52 early
work with a later 52 - 1995 build?
I know that this one works exclusively with older ones - but is it only working with them?

And - is it a good one - this remote?

It’s just for the early NAC52s before they were updated to RC5 remote protocol.

Thanks a lot - I was tempted by an offer as it mentioned that the remote works with 82 and others.
I will use my HDX and R-Com! Thanks Richard, that was rocket fast!
