Education is back on the agenda, another panacea to lockdown woes. Here is a worthwhile musing:

Call me a cynic, but education is based on the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

Always helps to remind kids that once they come out the other side of Uni’ no one will care what they studied before then anyway. And by the time they’re on their second post Uni job, no one will even care degree they had unless it was a sciences degree for a sciences career.
It’s more important to learn to get by and play the game and acheive goals in spite of circumstance rather than because of circumstance.
Life is what happens to you while making other plans is good lesson to learn early.

Not much point being ‘educated’ when you have no expertise or employability though…
