You could look at surface mounted trunking, which can be quite discrete if fitted along the skirting board line.
This is 50mm trunking and contains 3No. 6mm T&E and 1 No. 2.5mm T&E.

That’s a very neat solution. Our incoming supply is on the opposite side of the house to the lounge so we went via the loft and some external conduit to the lounge socket as it was the simplest way to go without disturbing internal decor.
