No, but neither do I keep it in contact with my DAC, so I would hope for at least a little benefit from physical decoupling and distance.

Darkebear,.I understand you,.you still want to be considered “normal” ,in the eyes of your friends.

We who were with in the 80’s,.remember what discussions it became in our Hifi-magazines. This,.when we didn’t get to have our watches in our Linn/Naim-retailers ‘Single Speaker Rooms’.

Far too technical for this place, need to know & calculate operating frequencies, inductance, initial & complex relative permeability, formula variables & the applications of ferrous alloys. And finally what to feed the little blighters with.

Operating frequency 4-6 hrs per 24hrs (with random distribution).
Inductance: when capering about they have a tendency to induce laughter.
Permeability: limited permeability, they’re very good at swimming.
Variables: they come in a variety of brown / white coat patterns.
Applications of ferrous alloys: they need iron in their diet.
Lastly, feed them ferret food, obviously, duh!
