I would love (to pay for) 4k, but as the premium subscription doesn’t offer that for me I took out an annual Pro one for 33% less.
I had Viaplay before, but as they massively increase their prices it just wasn’t worth it to me anymore as I only watched 2-4 Premier League matches a season. Hey, if I get a month subscription, or two, during the season to watch a game it will still be cheaper this way.
Although we can wonder about accuracy, as it also seems to claim HD isn’t currently available on Android (TV). (Unless they’ve removed it for the current season? Seems doubtful)
They don’t seem to mention Google TV, so I assume that will get the same support as Android TV.
I think that McLaren may split a lot of points between the drivers ( again?). Red Bull won’t, don’t think Merc will, no idea whether Lewis will compete with Charles. I think Russell may do well this year, but who knows.
Yes if the Mercs are competitive you would imagine that albeit without team orders George will benefit most one way or another and if Antonelli can take points of RB, Ferrari and the Jaffas then it will suit.
Early running will be interesting over coming races though, are the McLarens really well ahead? If so, for how long? Who’s best of the rest? Looking forward to Friday
What I usually do (inc. qualifying & the race) is simply watch them delayed after I get up naturally. I don’t need to wake up ridiculously early to see it live, I just need to make sure I don’t do other stuff and check my phone before I watch them.
Watched the latest season of Drive to Survive. Got bored after the first four episodes.
I could not help but feel sorry to see Sainz with tears in his eyes on his last race for Ferrari. Has he made the right decision to move to Williams and giving, the unforgiving, Briatore the finger and also turn down an offer from Audi? Time will tell. I do want to see him and JV doing well.
I have been following F1 for many years and I have the feeling this is going to be an unforgettable season!
Bring it on!
Jacques Villeneuve? He and his sister are too busy trying to close down the museum in their father’s name; Gilles. His sister went to the museum and saw dust on a few photos. Close the museum they say!
Also, a few months ago, a few low lives who have yet to be caught, sawed off and stole the Gilles Villeneuve statue in front of the museum in his name in Berthierville Québec.
I am sad that Gilles’ memory is not better preserved. (I am from Québec).
I also want to comment on the Canadian Grand Prix of 2023. Charles Leclerc wore a Gilles Villeneuve inspired helmet to honor him.
He did not ask the Villeneuve family in advance, but just wore the helmet. Well, well, well, the Villeneuve family tried to tear poor Leclerc a new one.
The hubris of this family is unbelievable.
Most people in Québec and Canada love Gilles. Jacques the world champion, not so much…

Out of interest, does anyone watch Sky Sports via Now TV in the UK?. I ask because of the time difference I will be watching replays of sessions which they always do on Sky Sports F1. However the Now TV guide only shows the current and next program so I don’t know what time the replays are shown. I opened a webchat with Now and lost the will to live after one hour!!
I also wanted to find this. I searched “sky F1 TV guide” and then looked at the hit for TVGuide. A few ads, but gave the rerun timings. Hope this works for you.
