Fantastic Intros

Van Halen: Jump

Kind of dated now and this is a case the intro is better than the rest of the tune.

Glasvegas - EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\

Beautiful

The Who: Eminence Front.
In the same vain.

The Who: Won’t get Fooled Again.

Silver Machine by Hawkwind is tremendously old school; synth panned hard left, space wind opposes the guitar over on the right. But those first few bubbles of the opening synth set it all up.

Still Raining Still Dreaming by Hendrix is the opposite, straight in with a dose of Wah pedal and we’re off. Tremendous.

Still the winner for a pop intro by a mile tho, The Beatles - All My Loving. Crashes straight in with the opening lines without the finery of an instrumental intro and that’s it. One of the best openings to any pop song ever.

One of the highlights of watching purple live was hearing them replicate this intro.
