Nice Wildcard😉

Wow. Tricky day. Fortunately, probably tricky for everyone!:soccer:

I await the points tallies with great interest.

Edit: OK, seen them now. Most of us struggled today, but a hat tip to Graeme and the mighty Farke Knight Rises 2.

Time to drop Haaland.

Until Chelsea smash Liverpool at Anfield that is…

Dull, dull game. And none of our big hitters hit big.

for someone who watches a lot of Premier League footy, I absolutely suck at this Fantasy Football malarkey. Propping up the table after last weeks debacle and heading for relegation……

I won the wooden spoon last season but seem to have turned things around (so far). Here are a couple of things I learned the hard way: Read up on how to use the wildcards, free hit, and bench boost; don’t put players in your team if they’re injured or otherwise unavailable.

Good luck.

Oh I am quite diligent about making sure injured players are removed etc, but I really need to read up on those wildcard things. My “non Haaland” strikers also started the season very slowly, glacial is the word that springs to mind.

Chris Wood, Danny Welbeck and Nigel Jackson all look better value than Isak or Duran, both of whom have lousy points per match.

Nigel?

Ha! Don’t know where that came from. Who TF is Nigel Jackson?

I guess he’s the one Michael, Tito and Jermaine never talked about…

Very funny :grinning:

Nicholas Jackson

I seem to have the power to stop any player from playing well.

Just sacked a couple of them!!

Well played to all who dropped Haaland and brought in Salah (and made him captain). I didn’t do those things – and paid the price.

Oh, lordy, unless Newcastle score a bucket full tonight, I have had a woeful week.
