I’ve been checking daily for an update for ages and updated my NSC 222.
I was hoping it would resolve the issue that the setting “Turn Off Display During Playback” doesn’t work after a power cycle even though it’s still set when powered back up.
It doesn’t.

I had that bug, but it seems to be working here now after the firmware update (it rebooted a few times as part of the process). I’ll test a full power cycle again later to see if it reappears.
I’m using Tidal Connect if that makes a difference.
Try turning off “turn off display during playback”, exit settings. Re-enter settings and turn on “turn off display during playback”. It works for me.

A power cycle always turn it back to default meaning always on. Maybe different now but haven’t had time installing new sw yet.

You only have to flip the switch “display off “ in setting off and on again. That’s all.
For me this is just behaviour of the software, not a real bug.
Just curious, did NC miss out on a direct equivalent to OC 3.12 ?

Yes - you need to reset each time it’s power cycled.

Can the FW be for 332 only ? I only have the 332 and not the 333..
I believe it’s for NSC 222 and NSS 333, but maybe be for other Naim streamers too (Uniti series?). I don’t think any firmware for preamps like NAC 332 are provided via the internet.

Certainly sounds good to me on my NSC222/NAP250. Maybe better soundstage, but I’m pretty rubbish at describing how hifi sounds.
