The P8 is great. I love mine. I don’t know if you’ve already bought a bracket for the RP3 but do bear in mind that the 8 needs a special smaller bracket. I have an MM cartridge in my P8, straight into the SN3’s phono stage, which may be something to think about when you get an SN3 and if you want to keep things simple.

Yes I had the std Rega wall bracket for the RP3 and a new P8/P10 wall bracket coming tomorrow or Thursday depending in UPS.
