I have had a small issue now for a few weeks, it is just a minor frustration.

When I select a Favourite, say a radio station, I then get a pop up, Options are:

Play Now|Rename|Remove from Presets

Obviously, since one is pressing a favourite, one quite reasonably expects the selected to play quickly.

I did view a video earlier on, I think, or maybe just some type of walk thru of Favourites and Presets were indeed mentioned. I can’t seem to find that for a 2nd read, or any mention of this app behavior anywhere.

Fairly sure it didn’t used to happen. Maybe it is due to an Android update?

I have now noticed also that if I choose from Favourite\Presets, which is not as good a view, then the preset chosen plays with out the extra step of Play now.

Presumably you have the Tap for Options setting enabled. Turn this off and the station should just start playing without the options list first being displayed.

(There may of course be other inputs in which you would prefer to have Tap for Options enabled.)

Tap for Options also applies to music played from a server (local, Tidal, Qobuz) where you also get a list of options when you tap on a track.
