Hi, looking for any guidance on where to get some minor spares for focal speakers.
I have focal 1007be speakers with the beryllium tweeters, which are I understand somewhat hazardous.
The tweeters are ok, but (usually story ), grandson decided to remove the magnetic covers, and pass them to the dog to have a chew on.
Had a look on focal site but cannot see any reference on where to get spares.
Anyone know where I might get a set?
Living in Ireland but happy to buy anywhere as they are such small items.

Hi, you could start with focal uk; call the Naim factory. I believe Mike Smith is still head of uk sales for focal. He might say to go through your local focal dealer, or he might deal direct, not sure.
Given grandson’s actions, have you read the handbook about what to do should a tweeter be damaged? IIRC, mine were supplied with some sticky paper, the instructions being to stick over/on the unit should it get damaged.

Yes. I do have the original patches in the original stored boxes.
Happily the tweeters are ok, just the grills that were taken off (and eaten by the dog).
For safety reasons I have removed the speakers for the short term and put my nsats in their place as an interim.
