Pleased that Bellamy has seen the light and exposed himself to a few more years of misery with the Welsh national team rather than with Burnley. Devastated for Lincoln fans to have lost Skubala so quickly. Will be interesting to see how their “joint coaches” fare.
I will have genuinely mixed feelings about that. On the one hand it’s rare I’m displeased by a team being successful. 0n the other hand I would miss the fascinatingly often very different perspectives of @JohnF and @Canaryfan.

The sad but inevitable end. The punctured lung and spinal injury did for him. An undignified end really but he kind of brought that on himself.
Nevertheless, he departs leaving us with more great memories in 5 years than we could have ever imagined. First player to buy into the “project” and it’s genuinely hard to see him go.

… because it’s about everything which isn’t the PL. We have previously had members supporting clubs in other divisions and other countries too. It will vary from season to season and that’s fine too. It could have incorporated the World Cup and the weird transfer window thread which essentially appears to be about maybe 3 teams in total but no offence is taken if people want to create a separate thread for those. We’ll just keep ploughing on.
It’s a hard one isn’t it. I’d not even heard of him when he signed and he was the first real significant signing who was sold by “the project”. The reaction of my Cambridge supporting mate spoke volumes.
I wasn’t convinced until Palmer arrived and his penalties were anxiety inducing but he gave me 3 moments which will live forever so his status is assured.
His going really does mark the end of an era and something pretty special. It’s sad that that the 2 injuries did for him as he was Championship level at minimum and could have done a job for Wales too.

We were told that sort of thing would feature much prominently for us last season. All we got was Kabore and Doyle from City. First was arguably bettered by what we already had whilst the second has both a buy back clause and is coveted in far too many places for comfort.
I resent them getting 2 mentions in as many posts but Arsenal also loaned us Okwonkwo. Highly rated by Arteta and co. right up until they allegedly fell out but in reality a mixed bag at best. Again, much coveted elsewhere and possibly on his way.
I miss the days when we had Fergie Jnr. in midfield and Sir Alex loaning Flynnie players who robbed their own players as soon as they were out of the changing rooms.
Hope yours work out better than ours so far. Pattern nowadays seems to be that Championship clubs get the ones PL clubs want to weigh up or definitively get rid of whilst L1 and L2 get the “going nowhere fast but if they turn it on then at least we can screw a fee” types.
