You should be concerned Kev. We’ve splashed a rumoured £8.5m (possibly rising to £10m) on Andre Brooks from Sheffield Utd. ,reckoned to be one of the major rising talents in the Championship. Rumoured to have been sought by a couple of Premiership clubs. Hope it proves to be the coup even persons outside Carrow Road are saying it is. Also signed a 20 year highly rated Brazilian full back on a season long lone. I not so exited about this after seeing how poor his compatriots were in the USA. Hope I’m proved wrong. Sure you will be in the running for automatic promotion, but we are virtually guaranteed the title…….. ---

We’re just offloading all our expensive and overpaid surplus players to some mugs over near Northumberland Park. Fortunately they’re all so thick over there they’ll take anything. And pay way over the odds too. ---

You’ve got a thread you already dominate 🤣 . We have a rough idea of our incomers but they’ll be much later in the window. Biggest task at present is that we’ve between 5 and 10 to offload. ---

From Spurs Web… _"Spurs have spent a club-record £237m on new signings so far this summer, with the bulk of that going towards their two midfield additions: Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali._ _However, Tottenham are also set to earn £85.1m from the sales of Alejo Veliz, Luka Vuskovic, Radu Dragusin and Alfie Devine, with the Lilywhites’ net spend currently standing at £152m this summer."_ Have to say, that sounds like superb business to me, given that we’ve completed no less than 5 great signings. ---

I think those mugs might have the last laugh though, Kev. Good luck surviving in the Championship. ---

Of course, you’re now barred from the PL thread! See ya…🤣 ---

Looks like Leandro Trossard is off to Besiktas in Turkey for 20 million euros, super player sad to see him go but happy he gets to take a PL winners medal with him. Meanwhile we seem to have signed Leeds United’s old keeper Illan Meslier as David Raya’s No2 I can’t believe he can be worse than the outward Kepa but you never know! ---

Yeah but I can still wander over and take snide potshots - which of course I will be doing at regular intervals. 😛 ---

For the avoidance of doubt, I’m looking forward to Saints spending several 10s of millions in new signings, and in addition, placing a contract with MI6…..so we can do the job properly next time 😹😹😹 ---

How much wages are you paying Fernandes and Tonali, how long are their contracts and how much did you pay their agents? ---

Sean Steur has signed from Ajax for €27m (£23m). A 6 foot tall central midfielder, he has played for Holland at every level up to U19. I don’t have any opinion about how good he is, but I like the way NUFC are keeping deals more ‘below the radar’ than in previous years. That’s replacements for Tonali and Gordon bought (though not sure how PL ready they will be) so a positive window so far. Still early days…🖤🤍 ---

Bob it doesn’t matter. Spuds are just a stepping stone to a big club for both players. Maybe one or both of them might end up at City, Pool or even Arsenal? ---

> [@TheKevster](#): > > Spuds are just a stepping stone to a big club Doesn’t say much about your lot then, does it 🤣 Though it is rather amusing that since we have grabbed all your good players recently (all two of them) , you are starting to have an affinity to the Gooners. Trademark bitterness. ---

We’ve never pretended we are a “big” club, Woy. We are, however - and as the song says - MASSIVE. ---

> [@Wugged\_Woy](#): > > you are starting to have an affinity to the Gooners Not at all. Still hate Goons, Spuds, Mancs and Chels with a passion. Just doing it from a slight distance for a season or two. ---

Ensure you stop the crosses. And when he makes a mistake post ‘he’s still young for a keeper’. I hope he does well for you. He’s a cracking lad, as they say and you have better support to get the best out of him. But when to come off the line/stay on the line feels like something natural rather than coached.
