My factory tour was back in the days when the flow solder machine was a new process and the CAD screens for circuit design were very futuristic. The equipment for the music demo being a pair of Linn Kan speakers an LP12 and a huge stack of Naim electronics. I’d never heard “A Walk On The Wild Side” sound so good. I even took my wife …and we’re still married!
It was another most enjoyable forum factory visit yesterday. Thank you to all of you who came along and also thanks to Jason, Mark, James, Paul and Steve for hosting and making everybody feel so welcome. And not forgetting Kate who provided us with a delicious lunch.
Thanks to Richard Dane and all at Naim for their generosity of time and knowledge at the factory visit. I was certainly encouraged by what we heard about the new ownership, especially being a fully formed company, who should be able to bring lots of support in the future.
I’ll add my thanks too - a great visit. My biggest takeaway was the excitement among the staff about the Barco purchase and what that might mean for the future of Naim.
Less exited with former owners then I guess. I hope Naim are in for a fresh start with owners who listen and trust all the talent and knowledge within Naim
Really appreciated too Jason’s PM demo of the range from 222 NC right up to Statement and introducing the various power supply options as increments. Good music choices and I want a set of those big new (non-beryllium) Focal speakers !
Great to chat with the good guys in Servicing too.
