Hi has anyone changed the wall connector or the IEC connectors on their Graham’s Hydra for better ones, i.e. Furutech?
If so, what improvements did it bring?
No one changed the connections on their Hydra here?
@marcusman , didn’t you do such a thing? I remember reading something about it but I can’t find it anymore.
Yes, I have a 4headed Graham’s Hydra, and I fitted a Furutech UK plug and matching switchless UK socket on one of my dedicated radials.
I also fitted a purple fuse.
All of these changes had a good effect on SQ, esp. the latter.

Did you change the IEC’s of the heads also?
And did you use rhodium or gold plated ones?
No, I left the IECs alone.
My plug and socket are (G) type.
