Glastonbury 25 Line up

Announced this morning, and there seems to be a good mix of acts. Some I want to see, some I will aim to avoid and some I will likely look at due to curiosity.

I am looking forward to so far include, Mary J Pearson and English Teacher, Amyl and the Sniffers, Sprints, Wolf Alice, Lucy Dacus, Neil Young, Wet Leg , Nile Rodgers, Snow Patrol, Charlie XCX. This could be added to as I study the list more. Whether they will all be on he BBC remains to be seen.

Who are you looking forward to seeing?

My wife commented when she saw Rod Stewart is listed.

ā€œWeā€™ll have to make sure we donā€™t accidentally turn on the TV when heā€™s singingā€ :grinning:

Amyl and the Sniffers will be entertaining.

Ezra Collective billed for Saturday.

The Prodigy minus Keith RIP. Wolf Alice. Burning Spear.

A few years ago my daughter would have been ecstatic about the 1975 - but Matty Healy is no longer in favour here. Depends on TV coverage in our house.

Goat - I guess this is the Swedish masked band as they have done Glastonbury before.

I should catch up with Nick Lowe as Iā€™ve heard nothing of his in the last 20 years!

I enjoy hearing about new music to me - English Teacher from Leeds, Iā€™ll have a listen to. R6 excited about Busta Rhymes.

well, I have looked through the line up and I have one album by one of the artists, and thats it! Good job I didnā€™t buy a ticket!

I canā€™t say anything gets me salivating at the prospect, other than Black Uhuru, the Selecter and Ezra Collective. Iā€™m sure the first two wonā€™t be as I remember from their heyday, but I suppose they are now ā€˜heritage actsā€™. Ezra are great. Son no. 2 is going and Iā€™m sure heā€™ll love it, but heā€™s 27.
