Did you enjoy this show more than Milano Hi-Fidelity?
I do wonder how the CI series sounds like, maybe like a Nait XS?! I’ve listened to some Børrensen floorstanders (maybe the X3) last year and I didn’t enjoy them. Surely they have quite an impact (especially on bass), but they lack of refinement and soundstage IMO. I’m curious to hear them again, they should be on display in Padova.
What do you think of the green Manger speakers? I’ve heard Bricasti gear a few times. Sure it’s fine, but there’s a lack of enjoyment and life IMO.
By the way the red speakers aren’t Manger’s. They are the Totem Tribe towers. I’m a big fan of Totem speakers.

They are just different. We liked the big rooms in NH more. I also think Saturday morning is a big difference from Sunday afternoon, and Milano centro from Rho must be very far away.
I think in Meliá there was at least one excellent system, in NH there was one lost opportunity with the 801 D4 Signature connected to a tiny box.

IME Totem speakers will sound so much better with Naim gear (instead of Bricasti). If you have the chance, you should hear the Totem Forests, they sound fantastic with your NAP 200 DR.

Apparently at the Melbourne hi fi show all that was on show from Naim was the Nova PE and a set of Focal speakers.
It’s not hi fi it’s lifestyle.

I think is normal, album release is 1976, Waits was 27 years old 
I’ve just watched a video where they tell the curious story about this setup: it was meant to be driven by the new Marantz Model 10 ( 2 x 250W / 8 ohm), problem was that the courier broke the product the day before the show. So that’s why they ended up with this provocative setup, in the end they seemed positively surprised by the result.
