Great albums with awful covers

Great albums with crap covers? I think this fits the bill nicely

That’s a great cover!

I cringe every time I see it.

Agreed a great album but mine has a different (but not much better) cover.

I like early Steve Miller, and even saw him at the old Rainbow in (I think) 1972. But everything about this, especially its pointless, silly pun, is irritating.

Even if you came up with this cover after a heavy night at the bar, surely you would realise next morning it wasn’t funny after all

Johnny Otis, he’s good. The cover, not so good:

This is a splendid 1970s disco-electronica album. Cover’s a bit weird though:

Dreamfish - Self titled

Love the album, it’s an ambient classic, but what’s up with this cover yo?

Looks like it’s a nice picture disc…

I stumbled upon both of these in my mother’s record collection.

I remember feeling deep shame at finding these as a kid. And as time went on and I got older I started thinking they were cool and have actually been unsuccessful in my attempt to get her to give them to me.

I’ll buy a turntable the day I finally get these and her original first pressings of Johnny Cash.
