Now that I have a Naim system, I have started to listen again to CD. I wanted to pass on a great one for auditioning vocals.
The CD is “ Live Out On The Road” by The Flirtations. The Flirtations were a gay a-cappella group. The CD was recorded in a small auditorium in Vancouver. It captures the essence of live a-cappella better than anything I have heard. I don’t know how easy it is to purchase and it is not on Apple Music. Worth trying to secure. I would be curious if there was a streaming version.
“The Flirts” were both very out and very political. The content of the CD reflects that.
