Since the firmware upgrade cause my system to sound off and some people talked about the grounding switched it made me wonder what the supposed correct setting is.
Now both my 333 and 332 are set to default. Is this the correct way according to Naim?
What do you mean sound off?
If your 333 is the main source connected to earth, then according to naim manuals, both 333 and 332 should be in the Default ground switch mode.
See the thread in the streaming section “unhappy with firmware update” for details on how the firmware update degraded my sq.
Setting both to default is correct, as described in the manual. That’s assuming you don’t have another source that connects to ground.
Yeah I see Geko and some other guys having changed their mind about SQ three times already. And this is the guy who tested 15 LPS and hasn’t found improvement. Wait he has, no he hasn’t. Give me a break.
And then changing ground switches which obviously weren’t even set correctly in the first place.
Thanks for pointing me to another Geko fantasy novel
If just running a 333 then set to default. However, there are exceptions to every rule, so the best advice I can give is that the correct setting is the one that sounds best to you…
