Sofia Gubaidulina - indeed a legend.
Once asked where she got the bass lines for her compositions, she said she lived next door to a soviet rock band and could hear the bass through the walls.
This is my collection. Am I missing anything?

I bought my first CD from HMV Birmingham when they had a soundproof classic store within the shop. Radio 3 had played some of her work.
ECM have Canticle of the Sun.
She’s often combined with other Russian or contemporary composers.

I bought this CD years ago for the John Cage but found I much preferred the Gubaidulina
