75! Many happy returns, sir.
One of my absolute favourite artists. Early Modern Lovers, especially the Berkeley out-takes, but this is my favourite era and line up right here.
Overplaying it somewhat by having a drum (they toured with a piece of wood to stomp on) I have seen him a few times. One so hot Mrs. H. nearly fainted. One, at the Warehouse in Leeds, where the two small speakers for the trio were placed on milk crates and he had to ask if the fruit machine could be turned off as it was drowning them out. Fans broke into the dressing room and physically carried him back for an encore, which may have scarred him for life.
Still waiting for “It’s Time For…” from that era to be available on CD/streaming but either JoJo disagrees or the masters were caught in the storage fire.
Not a fan of the recent stuff but Bohemia stands with his very best.
