Same to you. When I worked in Stockholm, we had a significant number of Indian colleagues and they organized a yearly play with traditional snacks and drinks. Great fun.

I’m not sure if my neighbour knocked earlier today to wish us a happy Diwali, I was working in the upstairs office and went to check too late due to pressing work to do.

I heard conversations from the street with people wishing each other lovely pleasantries.

I am not particularly religious but would consider myself Christian.

I frankly knew little about it until recently but I think Diwali resonates generally for most people in terms of a basic good triumphing over evil which I appreciate is a complete oversimplification, no offence intended.

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if all religions and secularists could appreciate the positives in all religions…
