You haven’t shown the twin cylinders underneath that drive it, using petrol not electricity! But I wonder how they mute the thumping noise….or is that taken to be a desirable accompaniment to any music played?

Given that it looks like a piece of crap I was expecting it to be something on Temu for £10. But no, it’s made by Pro-Ject and costs a not insubstantial £2,299. So it’s an expensive piece of crap. It’s available on special order. I wonder how many people with no taste whatsoever are out there.

I would quite fancy an original iconic Wurlitzer 1015 ‘Bubbler’ in the lounge or somewhere, a real part of 20th century popular music culture.. … not sure it would comfortably fit in the current lounge, perhaps more the music room ! … but that turn table doesn’t work for me.. at all… it looks like the sort of thing that needs yellow and back safety tape on it
