Having to logout and back in to qobuz every time I start naim app

@Richard.Dane hi has there been any other similar reports of Qobuz login issues?

This seems to be the only current thread on this.

Have you been in touch with Naim support about it?

@KDDC84 @Icedragon05 since this hasn’t as yet been reported as a widespread issue, worth checking just how many albums, tracks, playlist et al you have on your Qobuz account. There have in the past, been issues with excess numbers, but since no Android here can’t offer much more.
@Icedragon05 since this is specifcially being reported by two of you as concerning the Naim Android app, it would catch more attention, if you considered amending the thread title or ask RD to do so.

I’m having similar issues with my Atom when accessing Qobuz from the Naim app on my Samsung S24.
My Albums and My Playlists disappear and then reappear after logging out and back in. Not every time and don’t think it’ll be due to number of albums, less than 30 in each folder.

I have been exploring this with Naim support over the last week or so. Unfortunately we havent yet found a fix, however naim support (Duncan) has read this thread at least up until a week ago, but perhaps I can suggest a follow up for the wider issue.

I reported something similar on the forum 2 months ago after a new Android update.
The issue is to do with the phone battery saving settings. Turn these on and the phone/app effectively logs you out of qobuz.

One workaround is to turn these off, or have to log out and back in each time to qobuz on the app.
Then after about 2 hours, the phone/app logs you out again. Rather frustrating.

Nice one that appears to be it, I have toggled through various of the settings and logged in out of Naim app but as soon as power saver is turned on it returns to the problem I noted at the start of this thread. With power saver off all seems good. I have also changed to dark mode in display which hasn’t impacted as yet.

Im not entirely convinced this is an Android issue. I dont get logged out of my Qobuz app with power saving on

Maybe not. Could be version specific, dont have this problem with my old tablet android 11, not sure if power saving is a thing on that mind!

I contacted Naim support yesterday, my phone does not have battery saving mode turned on so not sure @Thegreatroberto workaround will sort my issue, will let you know what Naim support say.

Related issue now, having restart app to display all presets and favourites, also need to enter settings and selct qobuz account then restart app to display full lists.

It would be helpful to forum peps if you amended the thread title to include ‘Android’ as the app else perhaps ask @Richard.Dane. This isn’t it seems an issue with iOS control points!

The latest Android update to its OS brought this issue. I leave my battery saving off when at home, as this is the only wsy to make things work without having to keeping logging in and out of my qobuz account.

Still no solution for this, fault appears intermittent now requiring a close and reopen app, but fortunately not requiring relogin to qobuz

Think its an issue with Android power saving settings. Very annoying thought

That was the original thought but power saving is off and it still has the same issue
