I would be really interested to hear your views. Has anybody changed or upgraded their system rack while listening through headphones and noticed any difference? I get that a good rack can help dissipate vibrations away from a component helping it achieve more of it’s potential. I get that turntables and to a lesser degree CD players create their own vibrations that need to be dealt with but if we take away the external vibrations of speakers and go with a streamer and amplifier with no moving parts. Aesthetics aside would there be any difference, say between a Fraim and a budget rack?
Changing your headphones or the HP amp, will make a bigger difference.

Not unless you use a valve HP amplifier and footfall or transformers are creating microphonics. Obviously airborne vibrations will not be an issue unless you want to listen to it on a building site.
