I noticed something weird when using headphones.

I have a Network Player and Naim XS2. When using Headphones directly with the player there is less „umph“ and punch in the base, eve with Airpods Max. Is this real or imaginery? With the XS2 tere is this distinct punch in the end of the base stuff …. Very dificult to explain. It is completely missing when using bluetooth, and almost not existing directly from the network player.

Crap quality headphone amp in the streamer, not uncommon.
Not surprised the xs2 is better.
BT is a convenience protocol, do not expect super SQ.
