I have not tried it, but I do not see why it won’t work. The magic is in the quality of the power supply, not the colour/style of the box and the Hicap DR is a very fine power supply.

Using one with cb 62 at the moment. No issues.
It will be awesome if my 32.5 and HiCapDR were anything to go buy. Traded up from Snaps, to olive HiCap to HCDR. The latter was best by a very long margin. Just make sure that the HCDR is serviced.
Tried it ,Hicap DR doesn’t suit the Nac 72 very well,
the sound becomes thin and unbalanced.
Better to go with a olive Hicap or CB Hicap or a Hicap 2 without DR.

Supercap DR plays well with my Nac 52. More immediacy and pace than my plain Supercap. A worthwhile upgrade.
Yes and a 72 with a SCDR.
Just remember these are just opinions like everyone else. Some make statements as if they are facts, they are not. Just opinions.
So yes, 72 will work with a HCDR. That is a fact. Whether it is better or not is opinion. Only your ears can decide.
