Thanks for all of the opinions on the first part of my downsizing thread.

So we’ve done some auditioning and have a shortlist of two options.

All in one box; Unity Atom or Nova (currently leaning toward the Nova as it has more power and control)

Neat Ministra or Momentum Jet-S or Proac Response DB1 speakers (leaning toward the Jet-S at the moment as it has the best sound stage and coped well with various sources and different genres of music).

We will be doing a further listening test with the above in a couple of weeks.

My next conundrum comes with what phono stage to buy to go with my LP12 (with ITTOK LVIII and Linn Klyde MC cartridge)?

My dealer sells NAIM, REGA, Exposure and Chord phono stages so I guess will recommend one of those.

I would like to be able to power the Phono from the streamer if possible to avoid buying a separate power supply (the downsize exercise is partly to reduce the number of boxes after all).

Does anyone have any experience/advice re the phono stage to match with (probably) the Unity Nova?

Did you consider the Linn Selekt DSM as that comes with an in-built phono amp?

The Nova doesn’t have the option to power a phono stage so to reduce box count with the Nova perhaps think of a self-powered stage.

No, have not considered the Linn Selekt DSM as we have a number of Naim Muso speakers that we want to use in a multiroom setup.

So.

After a couple of long listening session we have settled on a Nova with a pair of Jet-S speakers.

For the phono stage I have got a deal on a Renaissance.

Now to just wait for installation!
