I won’t, unless there’s a sudden miraculous injection of shed loads of cash, be going any further with upgrades.
However, I remember, years ago when the NAIM part of my system was three boxes (as opposed to the current eight), going to a HiFi show at the Penta hotel Heathrow and when hearing the various systems on display, smiling knowingly to myself and going home to my dream system. The only room that made me feel there was further to go was the NAIM + Gurus setup being run by TomTom Audio, the rest was, frankly, overpriced rubbish.
I’m in the UK in September and visiting the Ascot show, where I expect the same experience, this time with nobs on.
