High Ouput MC into NVC TT

I have a Dynavector DV-20x2 high output moving coil cartridge and an NVC TT.

Should I connect via the MM or the MC input (set to High gain) for best results?

Dynavector advise 1k Ohm load impedance but don’t state any value for capacitance (pF).

@CraigDal I would assume MM. But others would know more. When you can I would move to a low output MC to optimize all the NVCTT Has to offer. What Naim pre amp do you have? Your profile does not say what Naim gear you have.

I also have a Linn Krystal which I ditched when consolidating to a single NSC 222 unit plus active ATC 50s - but that didn’t last for long. I’m not re-fitting the Krystal at present until I really need to as I’m not familiar with setting up the PU7 as this was done at the dealer.

Will the active speakers replace the Quads? What will you do with the NAP250? I am confused.

I had Quad ESL 2912 and a McIntosh MC275 plus other gear.

I decided to consolidate to active ATC 50s and NSC 222.

I didn’t get on with the ATC so bought another pair of ESL 2912s along with a NAP 250.

So, I’ve currently got the ESLs and the NAP260.

@CraigDal I too have as NVCTT but I don’t have the PS as I am powering mine from my 332. I don’t have a free shelf for the PS for the NVCTT. I would assume that the NVCTT MM option could handle a HO MC, but I am not 100% sure. BTW f had the original Quads. Years ago. Long before I got into Naim. I think you are wasting the full potential of the NVCTT with a HO MC.
