Just swapped out the grey/lavender stock cable for a HiLine and the noise floor dropped considerably. Also better separation of all of the instruments, bass is more solid, not that any of that was missing in the first place. What a delight.
Now thinking what a SuperLumina will bring to the table?
Im confused - I have an RCA-terminated interconnect from the Solstice to the phono stage (Im using a SuperLine but the NVC TT also only supports RCA inputs), which has a mini-DIN at the table end. And a burndy from the Solstice to the power supply. Is it the RCA-terminated interconnect you replaced?
Yes sorry for any confusion here. I’m meaning taking out the grey/Lavender and changing it for a HiLine in the Solstice package.
After a prolonged listen I’ve decided to revert back to the stock cable. Maybe the SuperLumina is the best of both worlds? In terms of dynamic punch, visceral transparency and wallop

I can hear why some would prefer the grey/lavender cable but after prolonged listening there is a richness and sweet top end that is very toothsome. Also the soundstage is wider and one can turn the volume up much higher before any hardness sets in.
Interesting experiment this one and that has a little surprised me in that i thought the HiLine wouldn’t cut it. Now i’m on the look out for a decently priced SuperLumina interconnect. Good day all 
Hey @Stephen_Tate can you post a picture of the stock cable? I have a cable here at home and I cannot figure out what it’s for . . . cabling is of the ‘stock Naim’ variety. @JosquinDesPrez suggested it could be from the Solstice package.
Bart’s cable looks like a slightly thick SNAIC, but isn’t. It’s black but it has pins in a 240º arrangement with one in the middle.
Ah yes, that may be the black 8pin DIN to DIN SNAIC to connect up with the NPX TT to NVC TT phono-stage. Here is my stock interconnect that came with Solstice. Are you selling your Solstice? I wouldn’t bother personally. Nothing else out there hit the spot IMHO. It is like a vinyl version of the CD3. Never before has music been so much fun!
Solved. I just figured out that it is the NVC TT PSU cable.
I very much like the music from the Solstice, but we are moving to France and my options are to ship it there or sell it. Not much market in the States for it but I’ve not listed it for sale so I may just defer the decision. I totally agree that I find it very musical!

I would take a picture of mine but it’s a bit of a faff to get behind the rack and do so. Plus i don’t want to disturb anything, it’s not like i can just ‘mute’ the system to pull it out as it’s a SNAIC

I no longer use a Naim source of any kind in my main system.
