Is the sound ok on this? The one album I have makes my ears burn and I love the music but have to turn it off!!

The Tidal stream I play is very good quality can’t speak for the vinyl as I’ve only just purchased it this evening but as soon as I give it a spin I’ll report back. I’ve heard their first release and the quality isn’t great but this new LP is a huge step up even the Youtube streams are good.
Just checking, are we including Soul ? Very happy to as I can think of a load of posts

Didn’t mean to close down anything that makes you want to shake your hips…
Princesses Nubiennes by Les Nubians, my favourite R&B album, I play this a lot. Full of top-notch tracks.
Please listen to:
Conant Gardens & Climax (Gl St)

Such a very clever album. A combination of a film from 1985 and UK Rap 2004.
A classic…,

Ini Kamoze - Here Comes The Hotstepper.
No idea whether this is Hip Hop, Dancehall or Ragga, but it floats my boat.
Banks - III
Just managed to get this on CD. Ripped and on the Core. A great album. Goddess is probably her best but this ain’t bad.

Burna Boy - Outside
This could have been posted in the Reggae thread. I found this on Tidal after seeing rave reviews of his new album African Giant on Pitchfork. I really like his sound.

This is a much better album. A bit more consistent Outside the first half is great but I’m not sure about the second half. Worth a listen.

Gosh, along time ago, but what an album.

Black Moses - Channel Tres
I really like this.

Something old but favorite of mine: Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - The Message
A Hip Hop classic.
