How do I remove this basin plug hole?

Sorry, should have had a better look at the picture. The flexible pipes are connected to copper pipe which then mates with the tap(s). A bit of a pain or at least beyond my ken, unless you’re willing to bin the old tap(s) and get new ones with longer tails - not expensive for Grohe on Amazon which have served me very well and seem decent quality.

Finding a new basin for what looks like a built in enclosure (of some vintage?) that’ll match all the old holes might be a bit of a tall order.

All sorted.

Plumber turned up this morning. I was chatting to him as he was heading towards the house with what looked like a short bladed cordless saw.

Neighbour isn’t bothered it’s not gold, it’s slightly too small and it’s now a pop up plug.
