I’ve still got my SBLs, inc boxes. not really worth selling, at some point I will just give them away to the right person, my CB kit I gave to my daughter, she liked the sound of the SBLs but not in black ash
SBL’s not worth selling … ?
No not really, only worth a few hundred, anyone who buys them will have to collect, that means having strangers in my flat wanting to listen 1st, can’t be bothered with the hassle,
I try to trade in stuff that is being replaced or do not use.
With HiFi gear it is getting difficult as nobody wants the “vintage” gear that I used for a couple of decades. It is difficult to send what was once expensive gear to recycling.
Bought a NDX 2 in April, some happy moments with it when my cd player and turntable weren’t there, quite a capable component.
But tonight I realised I will never using it in future, and I put it on sale the next minute.
Not because I don’t love my stuff, just I would be much happier if it turns into budget for a better cartridge, and it get more usage and live happier with who will love it better.
I do keep some stuff I don’t use, thinking about that weekend flat just about to be refurnished, shame not to have a great sounding kit there once that’s done, right?
Too long. At some point I’ll rationalise and have a clear out but for the time being the hassle > the benefits.
As long as it takes to sell it off.
