Noticed there is a new HumminGuru ultra sonic record cleaner. The HumminGuru NOVA. Anyone tried it or know if this is a good step up from the first one?
I purchased one a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. I can’t compare it to the previous model as I have never used one.

I have looked at the specs of the new (and more expensive) Nova version. I have an original Humminguru cleaner and the Nova has some interesting ease-of-use features over it but as far as I can tell the actual cleaning mechanism operates in much the same way so I think it is unlikely to clean one’s records any better. I am not going to be buying a new one as a consequence.
In any case, my present unit works well and cleans my records satisfactorily so I see no need to change.
