Hi, I’m new here so apologies I don’t yet know my way around. I’ve been a Naim user since 1978 when my first system was NAP160/NAC12S and I can’t believe I still have difficulty connecting everything up. I’ve just purchased a NAP200 to pair with my NAC112 and have a 4 pin SNAIC but, frustratingly, no link pin. Is this necessary for this set up or will the NAC still be powered by the NAP without one. If I do need a link pin, why do I need one? (If I knew, it might help me going forward since it’s hard finding info on this and chat gpt is as confused as I am about Naim connections) - Finally, assuming I need one, where is the best place to get one asap. (I’m impatient. I want to hook up my new Sonus Fabers) ….. Thanks so much!

If you aren’t using a dedicated power supply such as a Flatcap to power your NAC112 then you will need the 5 pin DIN link plug. It allows the NAC112 to be powered from the pre-amp supply in the NAP200.
They can be bought from any Naim dealer, some of whom offer sales online.
