Is it possible to take the output from a modified Oppo SACD player and send i2s to ND555…for it to play???

The Naim streamers support SPDIF as their only serial digital input.
I2S is only designed to go over very short distances before it starts to loose integrity… in fact Naim streamers use i2s to communicate internally where it is usually best suited.
Best bet is to convert that i2s to SPDIF as soon as possible and then use a 75 ohm coax lead to provide the more robust SPDIF into the streamer.
