… duh! NBL’s look great, too. There is a pair on a well known auction site which are very appealing and look a good price at about £3k
Thing is, several people have upgraded to 808s from NBL’s including a Naim staffer of a few years back.

Them nbl’s have been for sale for many months now, no one is interested at that price
I paid 3k for mine several years ago now, from a dealer, when there were still spares available, now you’ll struggle to get anything except tweeters and they won’t be matched by Naim. The active version was being offered for around half that last I looked.
