I haven’t detected a change in sound quality with Sense. But, my broadband supplier has sent a new router this week and converted us to digital phone, it’s possible that has affected what I hear today. It is much easier to set up and use Sense as the stream controller and there are some sound control options that I can tinker with in the Lyrion Music Server. Replay gain (album/track/smart/no adjustment), volume control (variable/100%) can be adjusted for the UPNPBridge squeeze lite player. Replay gain set at smart will give a smoother sound than no adjustment I think.
Done it to my Zenith NG , no change in SQ
Anyone else having issues with Sense 3.2.0 into a 1st gen Naim streamer?
Tidal playback on my NDS is suddenly very unstable: tracks cutting out, stop / pause buttons not working, track counter all over the place.
Strange as the 3.1 versions of Sense worked flawlessly for me.
I had some drop outs on RP on my atom which had performed perfectly before….. nit sure what these should be set on - it was on default compatibility but I changed that but not sure what optimum is….
I suggest you get in contact with Innuos support, they are very receptive to help in my experience.
Latest update from Innuos says “Compatibility Mode is there so that if you try to enable the more advanced functions but encounter any instability, then you can revert to Compatibility Mode”.
I’m having issues with 3.2.0 whichever setting I choose for compatibility mode, so I guess more investigation needed.
Innuos have been responsive, as always.
Thanks, since I switched from compatibility mode it’s been working fine.

Wow 3.2.1 released. Innous found a few bugs with a fix within days, impressive.
I had a really long chat with a guy from innous (uk guy) at a recent hifi show. They are really good ![]()
Took two minutes to apply, music flowing again even though I didn’t encounter any issues with 3.2.0
Thats good to know ![]()
The Pulse plays well with the Chord Dave, I couldn’t be happier.
After recent experience I am not touching anything with FW - even when it is not affecting SQ (which seems to be so with innous)
With new upnp integration it might even work for qobuz purpose with my zenith
Too bad this stigma
Its how manufacturers recognise an issue then fix within realistic time frames. Obviously Innuos noticed an issue with 3.2.0 then days later roll out the patch. It fills you with confidence that Innous are on the ball.
For this reason innous is on top of a short list for a replacement streamer (when nd555 will stay ill)
I was contemplating going for the Pulsar but the Pulse is probably all I need. It really is an excellent streamer.
I am thinking I pulsar or zenith ng direction ![]()
What DAC do you have in mind
I am not settled there - heared a nagra at the show, but it’s no bargain. DAC is difficult…
