Innuos stream 3 /Nds or 333/555dr

On my Zen MkII the sense app is no longer updated. I use Roon instead. I have thought about upgrading several times, but I don’t know about Innuos. My dealer here in town will no longer sell them because he can’t meet the requirements they demand.

I have looked at music servers from Small Green and Audiostore and am still hoping for a miracle like a new Naim Uniti Core.

Do you use ansuz din and SL speaker cable?

And if you like current tube amps? That’s not past - it’s only different.

Yes Ansuz A2 DIN DIN and SL speaker cable. Long term plan is to get SL DIN DIN too but they are rare outside UK and UK built a wall around their island as you know so it’s expensive getting products from there now. In the meantime D2 DIN DIN is on the way to me. Might stay there if it sounds great. We’ll see

Hows SL speaker cables behaving in your system?

@Blackbird There is a SL at e… Kleinanzeigen in Germany.

The synergy helps - meaning both cables from same manufacturer. You should try sl 5-5. you had it before iirc.

SL speaker cable is running as I am writing. I am so happy that I got 7m. 6m (as originally planned) would have been a tight cut.

Yes - it’s really different to naca5. Same difference as with din and din-xlr. It’s calmer in a very good way. Nothing stressed anymore. First impression was a wow! I am very happy that this was the case. There is so much more detail - so much more happening. The lovely analogue sound stays - almost valve like. Soundstage similar, bass more defined without getting too hard - nice. And HF are smooth and defined. Naca 5 has more edges - but overall SL is not darker sounding. It openes up the mids in a massive way with more textures and smothens the hf.

I like it!

No idea where you read that Innuos don’t support legacy products but it’s simply not true. They fully support all their products for their lifetime. The one change has been that remote support now costs if you raise something unique not covered on their two support sites.

Yes but too expensive  I paid 1000 EUR for mine last time I bought one. It was good but back then I didn’t have SL speaker cables so went for Ansuz synergy then.

Yes SL has more insight and information coming at you without being hard or tough on ears. Great balancing act IMO.

Better have rich friends, not ? They will bring me caviar and lobster in my future hospice , instead of bananas.

I feel that FR means no harm here - he is a regular jester on a number of threads, and I’m OK with that so long as it’s all in good humour and without wishing to cause any offence.

I know, I choosed the past. I can’t imagine how the N50 would put my beauties in the dark shadow. I have not enough courage to try.

Permitted only as you are still my social media friend.

That’s a good description. I felt, that this was the missing piece - naca5 was a bit a bottleneck. I paid 1400 for my din 5-5. yes the one is expensive. For 1k hard to get I think.

No it’s better to have real poor friends than fake rich friends  Drago hates caviar by the way. You should know that being his best friend??

Yes he knows that - actually we are sitting next to each other at this moment …

I have never had a problem with update of my Zen Mini mk3

But it’s mark 3…

My zenith has also no problems - only problem being me afraid of the updates

No issues with Innuos updates, @drago, don’t be afraid to pull the trigger and apply the pending updates. Since owning the Pulse, Innuos have released several updates, not once have I noticed any degradation with the audio replay, far from it.
