I have a spare NDX bare after buying a new NDX2 . I will use my xpsdr with Ndx2. Instead of selling the ndx , want to buy a legacy integrated amp. I just found and bought Proac response 2.5 speakers in vgc . Found a Nait 5 si here in hong kong for about gbp500 .
So which integrated amp do folks recommend? I want to stay under 700 or 800
Nait 2 - continues to be a highly desirable sweet spot prior to going Nait 50.
Any experiences with nait 5 si?
Iām sure a Nait 5si will be perfectly fine. With a budget of 500 pounds, it may be harder to do better on the second hand market that is a good match with the NDX. And visually it will sit nicely on top of tne NDX.
If you can find a second hand NaitXS though, do that. In both cases, the seller is likely to be letting any affordable Naim amp go that is in need of a full service and recap. Bear that in mind.
Thanks will look around i can stretch the budget a bit
Second vote for an Nait XS2 if you can find one within budget. I used NDX/XPS DR/nait/sonus Faber lumina1 as second system for a while and was really impressed with how it sounded.
