‘Wheeltappers and Shunters Club’ on TPTV. The return to 1974 is now complete…
Worth checking out to see Bernard Manning have knives thrown at him alone !

The Motorbike Show s.13(!) on ITV4.
I realise Henry Cole has somewhat taken over the daytime B channel listings (even this remains stubbornly on ITV4…) in last couple of years but this remains one of my favourite comfort programmes.
Just watched episode 9 of 10 of The Day of the Jackal. Better than Bond??
It’s a great series definitely has that “James Bond” feel about it, especially in the opening credits.
Which service is this on?
Here in the U.K. it’s on sky Mike.
@Mike_S It’s on TVNZ+ here in NZ
Great, thanks.
Foxtel (Binge) here. Well worth tracking down.
Just watched the Yardbirds documentary.
Excellent and informative.

Yes, it was good, wasn’t it. They were a very important band, and not often acknowledged as much as they should be.
Started watching Wolf Hall 2. Serious production and acting. Quite scary in a lot of ways.
Yes Prime Minister ‘Power to the people’ episode from 1988.
Brilliant.
Nothing very much changes over close on 40 years…
I’ve been watching Spooks (2002+?) from the beginning on U-streaming (up to S3), and I wonder if some of the episodes would be made today. Some are a tad close to the bone given events since, and I’m sure some of the storylines and subject matter would be considered ‘delicate’ today.
Finally finishes all episodes of “Day of the Jackal”.
Blimey, and the ending of course was, well, …
BBC.
State of Happiness, 3 seasons based around early Norwegian oil industry.
Very entertaining.
Yes, brilliant. From something that sounds so mundane, too.

We’re currently watching the Inspector George Gently series.
Very good, but Mrs DG does struggle with some of the dialect.
DG…
Yes it was a bit of a shock.
Fargo - the series. Quirky.
