I am a fan of scandi crime dramas and came across Blood Sacrifice on Netflix. Two episodes in. Serial killer in Sweden killing police. Gripping so far.

I’ve enjoyed watching the Up series over the years. The final series is due to be broadcast on ITV, starting Sept 15th.

‘The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window’
Netflix. We had a good laugh at this. 8 30min episodes.
The critics panned it. One saying it was ‘…too implausible.’…really?

Reacher, S4 on Amazon Prime - I think the shark may have been jumped, as while the production values are high, the titular figure is now akin to Superman (IMHO) without the cape, and much of it is just a violence fest. Echoes of Dr. Who too, with plenty of escaping and running about.

A great series providing a wonderful slice of social history. Again, my age has aligned with the various years of the series which always makes it poignant viewing for me.

World Athletics Ultimate Championship was great on BBC last night. Culminating in the pole vault between Mondo Duplantis and Emmanouil Karalis. It’s on tonight and Sunday too. Miles better than the dreadful Diamond League events.
I love athletics events, but the last two Diamond League events on tv were actually unbearable to watch. The dumbed down production of the events with constant loud shouting over the tannoy and music blasting out at every oppotunity is awful. I gave the first one 1/2 hour and thought surely it was a one-off, but no, so the second got 10 mins. The tv was totally drowned out.
