Internet Radio issue with mu-So Qb

Hi, It seems like after June upgrade internet radio on MuSo QB (first generation) became broken. When I try to browse Genre or Brand categories the app goes into infinite loop and MuSo QB becomes unresponsive until I hard reset it.

If you post the FW version of your MuSo, the phone model and IOS / Android OS version and App version you are using we can help you to troubleshoot this issue ?

Hi there, nds and 555 ps, bot cases told here : radio paradise start and stop, no possibility to browse radio stations. Is it the death of radio straming? It’s a pity. No issue playong fikes from nas or tidal, just radio, Bluesound node plays radio perfectly, same network same connection.

This has already been covered on several threads here on the forum; worth a search!
Legacy units need to be updated as per directions; Superuniti here, works fine, the latest version for OC streamers like these is 4.9. Always worth posting exactly what version you are using, so that more specific details can be suggested, just as the post above yours from @soccermad requests.

thx for the reply, NDS updated to 4.9 and for 1 month worked well, then radio only started to skip the beats. streaming and tidal are perfect. @Richard.Dane this is not a mu.So issue.. is NDS issue any suggestion?

Have you contacted Naim support?

As RD suggest, an email to support would be appropriate.
Worth noting though, that they, as well as here, would appreciate knowing more detail.
Is the unit wired or on wifi? Worth a shutdown of the unit, shut down of router, then restart in reverse order.

yes, I was told to repeat the update installation, I will do that. anyhow sound strange as during one month everything worked very fine

thx, this I tried, unit is wired, I tried to shut off everything but no improvement unfortunately

Appreciate response, might try a reinstall of 4.9 on NDS, since this can be done more than once.
When you do, ensure no iRdio is elected, playing or not and it may also be worth a factory reset before reinstall. Yep, settings will have to be reinput, but this will likely be a support suggestion anyway. so worth trying to narrow the issue.
Whichever iRadio station you are trying, try also via a computer to ensure the station is reachable.
If you can choose, try one of the BBC stations when you try again, since these are reliable, if available in your country.

Reverting to the OP’s issue, I have a Muso QB 1 and Foca/Naim app on iPhone. I have just updated my phone to latest IOS and everything else is up to date and have not encountered the behaviour described. As @soccermad says, some more information from @Art3 might help in tracking down the problem.

Firmware updated for secons time, now seems ok. Cross fingers

Hello. I seem to have a similar problem. Internet radio connects, plays for about 10 seconds and then goes silent. And this happens on two MuSo QB1. On Atom everything works fine. Similarly, everything is fine via Multi room, Spoty. Please tell me how you forcibly updated (reinstalled) the firmware on MuSo?
