NSC222 and Nova run different firmware so iRadio issues may not be the same between these streamers. NSC222 here has been streaming iRadio all day and every day without issue, similarly Nova.
Useful if you provide your location, whether you use a wired or wireless connection, two examples of iRadio stations which are dropping out, together which firmware version your NSC222 is running. The “latest” is not a version number!
Useful to add details of your control point, versions et al.
Forum peps will always try and help, if they have a clear steer on the details of your set up.
Based in Belgium , facing this issue with all stations , including Naim Radio , NPO Jazz and plenty of others. No difference between wired or wireless. Running on version 5.3.0 (8531)
To troubleshoot this, best to choose and stick, as suggested with two radio stations, so Naim radio and perhaps RP from California, select which you prefer.
RP Mellow mix is the usual stream here and has run all day and does most days.
Your control point details would be useful.
Try running RP on NSC222 and at the same time, while ensuring your control point is on wifi not 4or5g network see if both can stream the same. RP app on handset or even on a computer. Does the drop out occur at the same point?
Ultimately you may need to do a factory reset of your NSC222 early on trying to resolve this. If you do this, start first with reset, then when back on line, switch off, ditto control point, then switch of your router, leave for 10 minutes and then restart. Wait another 10 minutes then start streamer and only then restart control point.
Let us know how you get on.
Same problem here in the Netherlands. Since a few weeks internetradio (RP mellow) is stopping on its own.
Playing with a NDX and the latest firmware (4.9). Never had this problem before, so I don’t think its a netwerkproblem.
I have a Uniqute 2 on which the iRadio also cuts out several times a day, often taking hours before it will reconnect. We only listen to BBC radio 3. It’s had the version 4.9 upgrade to switch to Naim Internet Radio. We also have Virgin broadband, but TV and internet streams without interruption.
