iRadio how do I clear vTuner present?

I cannot see the stickcy tread referrered too earlier today. Can someone please help me in how to get the iRadio to work again. As I understand the vTuner presents needs to be cleared. but how does one do that? Driving me nuts that no stations are available in iRadio.

Touch the three dots to the right of the preset and choose remove preset.

got it, and have done it, however iRadio still will not connect to anything! Any clues to next move? thanks

It helps to put details of your equipment in your profile. VTuner is down, as covered in various threads.

I have got the same issues, is there a malfunction/disruption?

Look at the second sticky.

metdk, what is the Naim streamer you are using? If a current unit then is the firmware up to date?

sorry, got it. Streamer is NDX-5 with firmware upgraded to 4.8, I expected based on the treads that I could do a workaround the vTuner issue? is that incorrect ?

There isn’t an NDX-5. If it’s an NDX or ND5xs it’s the old platform (the version 4.8 indicates it’s one of them) then vTuner is down and you have no iRadio. See if you can use AirPlay or Bluetooth from your phone.

sorry, typo, it´s an ND5-XS

Many thanks for the update!

thanks, I guess I have to wait until Monday

It’s only Monday for news. The firmware may take a little longer of course. Hopefully vTuner will come back to life in the meantime.

You have a few options as workarounds until Naim come up with a fix:
If you have an Apple device (iPhone, iPad or iPod) that can be connected with a cable to the USB port on the streamer, you could access a radio station on your phone and it should play on the streamer.
If your streamer has Bluetooth, use that to play from your phone without a cable.
Buy an old Airport Express for very little money on eBay and connect it to the optical input on your streamer. This will allow you to use Airplay to stream iRadio from an iOS device.

So no iRadio for Superuniti with 4.8. Nice, what a shitty news.

You need to read the threads properly. Update coming to older streamers.

Yes, I know. When?

From what I gather Naim hoped to have it ready in January, but they found a number of challenges getting the older streaming engine updated to enable use of the new in-house radio service, I guess because of limited onboard resources - it was never originally envisaged as being required all those years ago when it was originally developed. However, they do hope to have it ready ASAP. We may well hear more when Naim updates us all on the Vtuner situation on Monday.

Until then, there are some other ways you can route IR to your Superuniti - see the sticky thread for details.
